In re: Case SC82182

Dear Mr. Simon,

I received the decision of the court in case number SC82182 and I request a copy of the original order that was signed by a judge.

Rule 74.01(a) states: "A judgement is entered when a writing signed by the judge and denominated "judgement" is filed." Therefore, in order for this to be a judgement that has been entered, a judge must have signed it. And in order for it to have been rendered on the 21^st of December, it must have been signed on the 21^st of December.

Since this is the issue I have on appeal, I want a copy for my records to verify that this order was filed in compliance with rule 74.01(a) and Administrative Rule 4.09(6). "Orders or judgements entered on the docket sheet(s) by the judge or the clerk shall be signed by the judge or supported by a memorandum in the file signed by the judge."

I would also request that the clerk verify and certify that the judgement was entered in a manner that complied with the plain language of these rules.
